About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP Global Pricing & Margin to lead the strategic management of pricing and gross margin across various business markets and distribution channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving year-over-year margin expansion through the deployment of advanced pricing strategies, collaborating with business unit leaders, and optimizing trade program spend. This role involves managing a diverse global team, developing and sustaining the overall pricing strategy, and working with the senior leadership team to design and execute strategic pricing initiatives. The VP will also be accountable for the overall price cost performance and price realization impact on gross margin, and will be the global leader for pricing and margin management transformation initiatives. Applicants for the VP Global Pricing & Margin position at the company should have a minimum of 20 years of work experience, with at least 15 years specifically in pricing and a strong commercial background. The role requires the ability to operate as an influencer and subject matter expert, with strong communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels, including the senior leadership. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and tactical thinker, with experience in modeling techniques and pricing frameworks, and a proven track record of driving pricing capability transformation across multiple lines of business and geographies. A Bachelor's degree is required, and an MBA is preferred. The role demands an individual with attention to detail, who is action-oriented, impact-driven, and possesses executive presence with strong commercial acumen.
