About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Global Health Programs to lead and manage its portfolio of health system strengthening programs. Applicants must have an advanced degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a postgraduate degree or more than 15 years' experience. The ideal candidate will be a recognized global health leader with a strong background in managing large-scale health development programs, particularly those funded by the US government. Experience in pharmaceutical systems and supply chain is also preferred. The role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in financial management, and the ability to build and manage complex relationships. The Vice President will be expected to be a change agent, with the capacity to influence and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including governments and major donors. Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in French is a plus. The position demands a high level of travel, approximately 30% of the time, and the candidate should be prepared to work in a dynamic, international environment.
