SUMMARY:

This is a year round part-time position must be comfortable on the phone recommending salon and spa services to customers, comfortable modeling clothing and going live on Ruttger's Retail social media platforms. Perform a variety of duties relating to merchandise sales in the salon and spa. A knowledge of product uses is required. Other responsibilities include meet, greet and assist customers, assist with pricing and displaying of merchandise, and keep store clean and orderly, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years old Previous sales related experience preferred ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Assist customers, offer information and advice when applicable about services and store merchandise. Receives cash bank at start of shift and verifies amount by counting into cash drawer. Record all sales transactions and issues receipts accordingly. Counts all receipts at end of shift and verifies accuracy of all transactions. Assists in unpacking of inventory. Assist in keeping work and display areas clean and attractive. Check and restock sale supplies (bags, tissue paper, boxes, register tape, charge slips, etc.) regularly. Keeps bathroom clean and stocked, storerooms organized, dusts and cleans regularly, including windows and floors. Ability to gift wrap packages quickly and attractively. Foster positive working relationships and communication with all departments. Other duties as assigned. Requirements EXPECTATIONS Interact on a daily basis with guests and resort staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. REQUIREMENTS: Stand; walk; sit; kneel; lift; push; pull; reach with arms and hands; move objects weighing up to forty (40) pounds.
