Modesto, CA | $120,000–$170,000 + 15% bonus + 9% 401(k) match | Full Relocation 

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Plant Operations Manager to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility in the Food and Beverage industry. This role offers a significant leadership opportunity with the potential to rapidly advance to a Plant Manager position. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in driving operational efficiency and team engagement in a large-scale manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and production planning in a fast-paced environment with up to 1,000 employees.
• Directly manage a team of 150–300 employees, with two direct reports, ensuring high performance and engagement.
• Implement standard work processes and lead change management initiatives to enhance operational excellence.
• Promote continuous improvement through disciplined execution and autonomous maintenance.
• Collaborate with HR, Maintenance, Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams to achieve production targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, or CPG manufacturing.
• At least 7 years in operations or plant leadership roles.
• Experience in managing medium-to-large facilities with 400+ employees.
• Strong background in Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Union experience is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated passion for developing talent and driving team engagement.
