Job Description
Our Dermatology Practice Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of our clinic, including daily operations involving personnel management and performance, patient throughput, provider relations and scheduling, and the overall management of assigned practice operations with a focus to maximize provider/staff productivity.
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Compensation: Salary base plus monthly bonus potential
What You'll Do:
- Oversees the operations of the practice in order to ensure that continuous, quality, accurate, timely and cost-effective services are provided
- Collaborates with providers and other departments to ensure a high-quality patient experience
- Provides effective leadership and promotes teamwork both internally and externally. Develops goals and performance expectations for staff.
- Responsible for patient relations and works collaboratively with professional staff and other departments to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction
- Development and implementation of continuous quality improvement and monitoring on an ongoing basis to meet the mission, goals and objectives of the practice
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years progressive dermatology office experience and leading a team is required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance practices is required
- Ability to communicate constructively, clearly, and effectively with patients, other departments, and the medical staff
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and direct the work of others
- Previous Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Experience with EzDerm helpful
