Position Overview

The Senior Installation Scheduler role is a senior position that is imperative to the operations of our installation department. This role demands an individual seasoned in construction, project management, supervision, and specialized planning. This professional will use their expertise to craft and execute project schedules, ensuring the punctual completion of every installation.

Responsibilities

  • Project Scheduling:
  • Construct and maintain detailed project schedules for new elevator installations.
  • Engage with project managers, installation teams, and contractors to harmonize schedules with precise project milestones.
  • Resource Optimization:
  • Oversee the allocation of internal teams ensuring resource efficiency.
  • Ensure procurement of materials in a fashion that keeps inventory at a minimum yet maintains an efficient installation schedule.
  • Optimize labor, equipment, and material deployment to meet and exceed project timelines.
  • Communication and Coordination:
  • Facilitate communication between ourselves and customer, ensuring clarity and consensus on project schedules and any pertinent alterations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Management team, integrating customer requirements seamlessly into installation schedules.
  • Proactive Problem Resolution:
  • Swiftly identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or challenges, demonstrating a proactive approach.
  • Anticipate and address potential issues that could impede project progress, ensuring continual momentum.
  • Completion of Projects and Quality Assurance:
  • Uphold the highest standards by ensuring all installations align with company benchmarks, industry regulations, and surpass client expectations.
  • Conduct regular, thorough reviews to assess project progress, identifying opportunities for refinement and optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline preferred.
  • A distinguished track record, exemplified by 4+ years of hands-on experience in construction, project management, and supervision, with a pronounced emphasis on planning and scheduling.
  • In-depth understanding of elevator and lift installation processes and nuanced requirements is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management acumen, complemented by keen attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package
  • Candidate must be well accomplished in Microsoft Excel amongst other Microsoft Office Applications
