Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager

About the Role:

American BOA is seeking a highly qualified Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to oversee and drive compliance, safety initiatives, and environmental programs at our aerospace manufacturing facility. This position is full-time, on-site, and requires a candidate with a strong technical background— an engineering degree is required , preferably in Mechanical Engineering.

The EHS Manager will play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance, managing risk, improving employee safety, and fostering a culture of environmental and safety responsibility across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide environmental, health, and safety programs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
• Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses; implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures across all departments.
• Lead safety training initiatives for employees and ensure documentation is maintained.
• Partner with engineering, maintenance, and operations to ensure safe manufacturing processes.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and lead inspections related to EHS compliance.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, and ensure corrective actions are executed and documented.
• Coordinate environmental compliance efforts including waste management, emissions, and sustainability initiatives.
• Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies and manage audits or inspections.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred) is required .
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or industrial sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable safety and environmental regulations.
• Experience conducting training and leading EHS programs.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and lead across all levels of the organization.
