Job Description

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting a Dermatology Field Director for the Northeast region (PA, NJ, NY, MA, CT, RI, VT, NH, ME). The Immunology team focuses on developing transformational medicines for immunological disorders, aiming to improve patient lives. The role involves leading the Northeast Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team to execute medical affairs activities, drive results for Tremfya in PsO, and support the launch of Ictrokinra in PsO. The position reports to the National Director, Psoriatic Disease.

Responsibilities

• Hire, onboard, train, and manage the Northeast Dermatology MSL team.
• Strengthen JNJ’s presence in dermatology and drive field results for Tremfya and Ictrokinra in PsO.
• Ensure team activities align with Medical Affairs plans and company directives.
• Conduct team visits, 1:1 meetings, provide coaching, and oversee training and development.
• Manage team metrics, capacity, and field activity levels.
• Collaborate with headquarters and other Field Directors to ensure strategic, up-to-date plans.
• Lead special projects and cross-functional activities.
• Promote a positive working environment aligned with Credo values.
• Complete administrative duties timely, including expense and metric reports.
• Communicate team achievements to internal partners and management.

Qualifications

• Graduate medical/scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, NP, PA, MD, DO).
• At least 8 years of experience, with 5+ in healthcare/pharmaceutical/medical device industry.
• Experience as an MSL or Field Medical Manager.
• Previous people management experience, including onboarding and training.
• Immunology experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel ~60%, including overnight trips.
• Ability to maintain a home office and live near an airport.

Compensation

The base salary ranges from $160,000 to $280,000, with performance-based bonuses and comprehensive benefits. Learn more at JNJ Benefits .
