About the Role:

As a CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ionizing radiation, ensuring patient safety and comfort every step of the way. Your expertise will help produce high-quality images that are crucial for accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper patient identification and order verification while preparing patients for exams.
• Conduct exams following department protocols with precision and care.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and anatomical positioning.
• Adhere to the ALARA program and maintain radiation safety protocols.
• Critique your own films to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising patient care.
• Administer contrast materials under supervision, following established protocols.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques diligently.
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Maintain thorough documentation, including time stamps and image storage.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, and charging.

Shift Details:

*This position qualifies for a Sign-On Bonus of up to $7,500!

• Full-time position (35 hours per week)
• 7 on - 7 off night shift
• 10-12 hour shifts
• Monday - Friday (9:00 PM - 6:00 AM), Saturday - Sunday (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
• Enjoy a shift differential of 10%-15% for night shifts.
• Availability for some weekends and holidays is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Radiography Certification/Registration (ARRT)
• Relevant State licensure (where required)
• Demonstrated proficiency in CT imaging
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (healthcare)
• Post-hire expectations include IV certification competency within three months.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CT Certification/Registration (ARRT)
• 1+ year(s) of CT experience

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform tasks requiring hearing, lifting, manual dexterity, seeing, and standing.

Location:

Intermountain Health Logan Regional Hospital, Logan, Utah

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

35 hours

Compensation:

The hourly range for this position is $34.06 - $52.55 , based on experience.
