VP Aviation was founded to provide quality aircraft maintenance services to MROs, Airlines and Repair Stations nationwide. Our maintenance teams consist of AOG, Projects and Hourly employees. We are a fast-growing company where honesty and loyalty are our key values.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

• This is a contract position.
• Perform aircraft maintenance, repairs and inspections to aircraft, engines, and components for our Part 145 repair station
• Have an understanding of the procedures for the repair station.
• Have the minimum required tools to perform the mechanic duties
• Research maintenance task instruction guidance and parts required in manufacturer’s maintenance manuals to perform the required tasks
• Identification or tagging of all aircraft components when removed from an aircraft undergoing maintenance or modification
• Protecting aircraft exteriors and interior prior to work commencement

Requirements:

• Airframe & Powerplant License and valid driver’s license.
• A minimum of 3 years’ aircraft maintenance experience.
• Strong working knowledge and understanding of the Federal Aviation Regulations and ability to understand manufacturers manuals.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in hot and noisy environment.
